TVS Motor has introduced the new TVS Jupiter 110 cc scooter, priced at ₹73,700 ex-showroom
On August 22, TVS Motor Company (TVSM) announced the introduction of its latest TVS Jupiter 110 cc scooter, which will be available at a starting price of ₹73,700 ex-showroom, as reported to the exchanges on the same day.
The announcement highlighted that the new TVS Jupiter 110, featuring a state-of-the-art engine and industry-first attributes, truly embodies the concept of ‘Zyada’ — offering enhanced style, fuel efficiency, performance, comfort, convenience, safety, and advanced technology.
KN Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO of TVSM, stated that the new TVS Jupiter 110 reflects the company’s dedication to meeting customer expectations through investments in engineering, technology, design, and ergonomics, positioning themselves as a leader in the industry.
We have enhanced the quality of customer experience at TVSM showrooms, and the new TVS Jupiter 110 elevates that entire experience. We are optimistic that the TVS Jupiter, equipped with numerous first-in-segment features, will strengthen our standing in the two-wheeler market, he stated.
Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President and Head of Commuter Business as well as Corporate Brand & Media at TVSM, stated that the TVS Jupiter 110 has served as the cornerstone of the company’s scooter lineup for the past ten years. He further noted that 6.5 million households have placed their trust in this model, establishing it as one of the leading automotive brands from India.
TVS Jupiter 110: Specifications and Features
• The TVS Jupiter 110 features a 113.3 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that produces 5.9 kW of power at 6,500 rpm and delivers a torque of 9.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm when equipped with iGO Assist, while it generates 9.2 Nm at the same rpm without the Assist, according to the announcement.
• The company stated that it realizes a 10 percent improvement in fuel efficiency over its previous model, thanks to the advanced IGO Assist technology.
• The vehicle features an advanced ignition system equipped with auto Start-Stop technology and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). This system is designed to improve performance by utilizing battery power during overtaking and climbing maneuvers, as stated in the release. It provides extra acceleration exactly when it is needed.
• The scooter will be offered at a starting price of Rs. 73,700/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC, at all TVSM dealerships.
• The design of the TVS Jupiter incorporates several industry-first features, such as a generous glove box, front fuel filling capability, an extended seat, a comprehensive locking system, a USB charger for mobile devices, and the innovative E-Z center stand.
• The LED headlamp on the scooter provides enhanced visibility for safe nighttime riding, and the motorcycle-style front telescopic suspension combined with the sizable 90/90-12 inch tires ensures a smooth and comfortable experience on the road.
• This model features Body Balance Technology 2.0, which is designed to position the mass further forward, lower, and more centrally. The fuel tank has been relocated by more than 1,000 mm, resulting in a forward and lower center of gravity (CoG) that enhances the vehicle’s stability. When paired with the substantial 12″ wheels and an ideal wheelbase, it maintains balance in congested traffic, even at minimal speeds.
• The TVS Jupiter 110 prioritizes ergonomic design, showcasing a thoughtfully placed handlebar, ample floor space, a comfortable seat height, and a fully digital color LCD speedometer equipped with smart notifications, as well as average and real-time mileage displays.
• This scooter is outfitted with top-tier safety and convenience features, which include: Assurance of MetalMaxx with a metal fuel tank, front fender, and side panels, Dual Helmet Space, Emergency Brake Warning, Turn Signal Lamp Reset, and Follow Me Headlamp.
